We have been attending Intrigue as a studio for several years. Our students have traveled to many Intrigue events in different cities over the years. The overall tone and energy of the staff, faculty, and community is unlike any other convention experience. They create a safe space for dancers to nurture their passion and talents for dance. Intrigue gives all dancers the opportunity to explore the creative aspect of dance as well as learning and performing. It truly is an atmosphere that fosters the "Dance Different" model. The classes are not only educational and informative, but the primary focuses are on the dancers growth as well as the exploration of space and form. It is a celebration of dance and the dancers. Faculty are giving and caring and they believe in the potential of all dancers at varying levels of their dance journey. Intrigue is by far our favorite convention.

My studio has been attending Intrigue Dance Intensive for over 12 years and there is nothing like it! The professionalism from the staff and the quality of faculty they have is top notch! All of the staff and faculty treat everyone like family when you attend one of their events. The classes are motivating and inspiring. They offer many different opportunities to the dancers that attend such as Improv (one of the first conventions to offer improv) , imagination competition students have the opportunity to bring their chroegraphy to life, collaborative competition where the students again choreograph themselves and many more opportunities! My students leave so eager and motivated to grow! They are constantly looking as a company for new ways to improve and elevate! I cannot recommend this company enough! Try it once and you will never look back! They are amazing!

This is the convention and competition we look forward to most each season. Intrigue is organized, professional and always evolving in the best way. It gives dancers a chance to climb the ranks within their program. The dancers get the opportunity to train hard in convention classes, become TP's (the dancers that get to demonstrate the work in class) and can become assistants (the dancers on stage with the instructors.) They also get the chance to choreograph their own work at their NEOVATE event. They have audition opportunities where they can receive scholarships and other awards to help pay for their future entries. The faculty is always top notch. Kevin and Lorraine are easy to reach, quick to give a thorough reply and always willing to help with any questions or concerns. The competition judging is fair. We have had dancers in 1st place and dancers in last place and we always look forward to the honest feedback. They look for something special in each dancer that spans far beyond the obvious "dancer" body and dance tricks. "Dance Different" is the motto and it inspires our dancers to be bold and outside of the box. During Covid they turned our studio into a Micro-Convention and allowed the students to continue to dance through a really difficult time. I can not say enough about this convention or the wonderful people that work here. You should 100% consider Intrigue for your dancers.

Our studio has been attending Intrigue for several years now and it has quickly become one of our favorite conventions! Not only do we love the faculty, the high level of choreography taught, and the family environment - we also love all of the extra opportunities provided that allows our dancers to grow not only in their dancing ability, but also in their choreographic voice. I love that in addition to competition and convention classes, they provide improv challenges and choreographic opportunities like collaboration, imagination and sidekick. It helps dancers that are interested in pursuing dance after high school with choreographic experiences to help them further develop their own style. The assistant program is also like no other and really helps those dancers learn the ins and outs of this part of the industry and growing so much in the process. Intrigue is a family and one we are super happy to be part of!

My daughter's studio has attended Intrigue for several years now and have received only the best feedback from our dancers. We appreciate the effort Intrigue sets toward its participants, allowing all to grow as humans before dancers. Intrigue has always been one of our studio's favorite conventions, challenging everyone to dance honest, determined, and of course, different. Dancers often return from venues unable to contain their excitement of how much they learned, eager to share their incredible experiences no matter if it was in person or virtual. We were also lucky enough to host an in-house convention for Intrigue, where dancers were able to take classes in a more intimate setting at their home studio. Within this, we find Intrigue faculty and staff are consistently most pleasant and responsible people and we are immensely grateful for their generous help. My daughter, her studio, and I am truly honored to be a part of something as special and beautiful as Intrigue.

My “Mini” dancer had the best weekend ever in Birmingham! What a high energy and fun workshop/ competition! These folks really know how to put on a show! The teachers and staff were so encouraging and left such an impression on us! This is only our second year to attend competitions and my tiny dancer will never forget her amazing weekend! Thank you, Intrigue!

 There will never be enough words to explain my gratitude for Intrigue Dance Intensive. A teaching staff with incredible credentials, a support staff that was friendly and professional, and a owner that made sure he took time to speak with every studio owner. This weekend with Intrigue Dance Intensive was a true turning point for my studio. Hats off to everyone at Intrigue Dance Intensive!!! Thank you truly for making our second season one for the records books!!

This is the 2nd year we have been to Intrigue and I really like this convention. I also really love Lorraine. She is super helpful and I sweet! I also love the diverse teaching line-up this company has. My favorite part of the weekend is always the closing dance number the kids get to present. I think this is an added incentive for the kids to be able to perform on stage and show an audience a fraction of what they learned over the course of the weekend. Go Intrigue!

My daughter has enjoyed attending this convention for years! It is always a very well organized event with excellent classes.It is icing on the cake that, when my family has had questions about the Nationals event next week, I get help from Loraine via email immediately!It takes a lot of time, energy and finances to have a child deeply involved in dance. We will continue to invest in this convention because of the exceptional all around experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about INTRIGUE … the staff were amazing!!! Can't wait to go back
