APPRENTICE RUNNER UP
Mini and Junior divisions only. Free tuition to regional and national Intrigue events for 1 year. Automatic qualification for the National Title Competition. Expires 1 year after date of scholarship.
TRUE PERFORMER RUNNER UP
Teen and Senior divisions only. Free tuition to regional and national Intrigue events for 1 year. Automatic qualification for the National Title Competition. Expires 1 year after date of scholarship.
QUARTER NEOVATE
Junior, Teen and Senior divisions only. 25% off tuition to NEOVATE 2024. Non-transferable.
HALF NEOVATE
Junior, Teen and Senior divisions only. 50% off tuition to NEOVATE 2024. Non-transferable.
Apprentice & True Performer
Apprentice and True Performer is our highest scholarship award at Intrigue regionals. Apprentices are awarded in the Mini and Junior Divisions. True Performers are awarded in the Teen and Senior age divisions. Dancers must attend ALL classes in order to be considered as an Apprentice or True Performer. Dancers must be in their appropriate age division for classes as of January 1, 2024.
Apprentice
MINI & JUNIOR LEVEL ONLY
Mini Apprentice receives unlimited free classes from issue date through 2025 Nationals or until dancer moves into the Junior level at age 9, whichever comes first.
Junior Apprentice receives unlimited free classes from issue date through 2025 Nationals or until dancer moves into the Teen level at age 13, whichever comes first.
Free Entry to Intrigue Nationals for duration of Apprentice Scholarship.
Opportunity to compete in Title Finals at Nationals.
Opportunity to become an Intrigue Assistant for the following season! Assistant positions are awarded only at Nationals. Apprentices must complete all requirements at Nationals in order to be considered.
True Performer
TEEN & SENIOR LEVEL ONLY
Teen True Performer receives Unlimited free classes from issue date through 2025 Nationals or until dancer moves into the Senior level at age 16, whichever comes first.
Senior True Performer receives unlimited free classes from issue date through 2025 Nationals or until the age of 21, whichever comes first.
Free Entry to Intrigue Nationals for duration of True Performer Scholarship.

ASSISTANT Alumni
MINI, JUNIOR, & TEEN ONLY
Assistant alumni from the Mini, Junior, or Teen age divisions who finished their Assistant season at the 2023 Nationals and are not eligible to move up to the next age bracket have two options. They can either retain a full regional and national scholarship until they naturally move to the next age division, forfeiting any new scholarships or Assistant positions in their current age group, or they can waive their scholarship at their first Intrigue event of the season and return as a paid registered dancer. As a registered dancer, they will be eligible for scholarships as well as Apprentice or True Performer positions, and may have another opportunity to become an Assistant within their current age division. All decisions must be finalized prior to the start of an alumni assistant's first Intrigue event of the season and are irrevocable once made.
All alumni Assistants from the Mini, Junior, and Teen divisions who advance to the next age category after their season ends will re-register as paid participants. They will not retain any previous scholarships but will be eligible to apply for all available scholarship opportunities.

Guidelines & Liabilities
Scholarship Guidelines
- All dancers must attend BOTH days of classes to be awarded a scholarship. lf a faculty member notices a dancer missing class, they will be penalized and their scholarship may be withdrawn.
- All scholarships must be used before the expiration date printed on the scholarship voucher. Intrigue National scholarships must be used at the current season’s upcoming Nationals only.
- Scholarships are not transferable. No exceptions.
- Scholarships do not apply at Micro events.
- Scholarship auditions are closed to Observers and Parents.
- Dancers ages 22+ are not eligible for scholarships.
- Should a student choose to transfer studios before redeeming an Intrigue scholarship, the scholarship will only be honored with permission from the studio owner under which the dancer received the award.
Safety & Other LIabilities
- Video cameras and photography are not allowed in the workshop rooms at anytime. Intrigue Dance Intensive reserves the right to use any images taken during the convention for promotional purposes.
- Please report all accidents and injuries to an Intrigue Dance Intensive Manager immediately.
- Gymnastics will not be tolerated in class or in the halls of the Venue.
- Students under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a chaperone.
