"I like to bring focus to how we can connect body movement to certain types of music"

Katie Hazard, an Ohio Native started dancing when she was 13 years old. Before her dancing days, she actually started as a competitive gymnast where she ended as a level 9. Later on she decided dance was what she wanted to do full time.
Katie moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in 2011 and immediately signed with Go 2 Talent agency. She started working for MusEffect shortly after moving. She has had the opportunity to be a part of Michele Obamas “Let’s Move” campaign,  World Choreography Dance Awards, Reebok, VANS, and Gap. She has been a principal dancer in the touring company MusEffect. She is also a part of Ryan Lohoff’s, Rithem Dance Company.

Not only does she love the stage, she also loves the camera. Katie has had the opportunity to work with Tyler Hilton and Spencer Ludwig in their recent Music Videos. Katie also loves to teach nationally and internationally. She had the chance to choreograph for dance studios in Costa Rica & Australia, but she has also choreographed for So You Think You Can Dance, VANS US Surf Open, Club Jeté, and for MusEffect Dance Company.
