Lauren Garrett has been dancing for 16 years. She grew up in Kalamazoo, MI, training in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, and Contemporary. During her high school years, she trained under Anna Vollmar and Calen Kurka. She also traveled around the country assisting Tokyo at mamy different studios and conventions. Lauren recently graduated from high school and moved to L.A. to pursue her dancing career.
Since moving, Lauren has become a member of Unity LA, a dance company under the direction of Tessandra Chavez, and continues to travel and perform at numerous shows with them around California. She also recently joined collidEdance, a contemporary company run by Erica Sobol and performed in their most recent show entitled “Blink/Dream”. Lauren has also danced in the monthly Carnival Choreographer’s Ball in Hollywood, appearing in pieces choreographed by Matt Cady, Tessandra Chavez, and Erica Sobol.
