Chad McCall

Contemporary | Fusion

Chad began dancing at the age of 15 in the upstate of South Carolina. After graduating high school he moved to Los Angeles to further his dance training. While living, working and training in LA he started to find his voice. Chad was a class junkie, but felt most at home in movement based contemporary classes. He trained heavily with Erica Sobol (Lobos Art Collective, ACE Awards winner) for many years, assisting her and being apart of her company. He also danced in the film “The Marc Pease Experience” starring Ben Stiller and Anna Kendrick, was a featured dancer in a Bob Sinclair music video and performed in several live shows for some of LA’s top choreographers. After several years he moved back to South Carolina where he fell head over heels in love with teaching and choreographing. There is no greater feeling, to him, in this world than the feeling you get from inspiring and shaping young artists. Chad’s class is mainly based in “contemporary” movement and focuses on creating your own voice and finding yourself while applying the details and intricacy of the choreography. Currently, Chad is based out of Orlando, Florida and he travels the majority of the year teaching and choreographing for studios all over the US, Canada and Mexico. He is also very excited to be apart of Intrigue Dance Conventions as a guest instructor in 2018!
When Chad is not working you can find him at his favorite place….Disney World.
