Observer bands can only be purchased prior to each event, and will be available for purchase approximately a week before the events starts. Please double check with your studios for more information on availability. Space is limited in select cities.
WRISTBANDS
ID wristbands must be worn at all times. You will be charged for a replacement wristband if damaged or removed.
CONFIRMATIONS
If registered by the 30-day deadline, Studio Owners/Studio Teachers will receive a confirmation via email detailing convention participants, competition numbers and payment information.
2023 - 2024 Competition Entry Fees
Entry fees are per number and performer.
Intrigue Dance Intensive allows a ten second grace period for each routine. One point will be deducted every five seconds after the grace period.
Fees Before Deadline
Fees After Deadline
*A fee of $5.00 per dancer will be added if a routine goes over allotted time.
Registration
Intrigue no longer accepts Independent Students. All dancers must be registered with a Studio.
CREDIT CARDS & CHECKS
Intrigue accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discovery credit cards. Please write one check for competition entries and convention registration.
PAYMENT DEADLINE
If fees are not paid in full 30 days prior, discount rates will not be applied. See the tour dates listing for cut-off dates.
CHECK FEES
All returned checks will be subject to a $25 fee.
REFUNDS
No refunds on convention fees. No exceptions.
REDEEM A SCHOLARSHIP
Regional Scholarships may be redeemed by attaching the scholarship certificate to the convention registration form. Photocopies of year-long scholarships are acceptable. The highest received scholarships will be used and lower scholarships will be voided.
STUDIO MULTI-CITY DISCOUNT
Studios with a paid registration attending more than one regional convention within the same season will receive a 50% convention fee discount in the second city and 60% discount in the third city; discount only applies to students attending each qualifying city. Discount does not apply when a scholarship is utilized as payment at a prior regional event.
Age Averaging Clarification
To find the appropriate age category for your routine, simply add all the dancers’ ages as of the start date of competition and divide by the number of dancers in the entry. When finding the average age of your routine always remove the decimal point. For example if an average age returns a number of 15.8, remove the .8 to have an average age of 15. Therefore, your number would be placed under the Teen Division, Ages 13-15
NOTE: All ages as of JANUARY 1, 2024.
