Evan attended Illinois Wesleyan University where he received his BFA in Musical Theatre. Evan competed on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, where he finished 3rd. He originated the role of “Elmer” in the Tony Award winning Broadway musical Newsies! He has performed in numerous shows across the country including Cats (Broadway Revival), Guys and Dolls (The Old Globe),The New Yorkers (City Center Encore!), and Freddie Falls in Love (The Joyce Theatre). Some film and television credits include Hail, Caesar, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Fosse/Verdon. Evan is a faculty member for The Performing Arts Project, teaches at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, and has gotten to teach masterclasses and workshops across the country. He has had to privilege to perform alongside amazing performers such as Ann Reinking, Neil Patrick Harris, Channing Tatum,Rachel Brosnahan, Sam Rockwell, and Michelle Williams. Evan Currently resides in New York where he continues to teach, choreograph and perform.
