Emerging creative, D’Angelo Castro, was born and raised in Miami, Fl where he also began his dance training at his parents studio, Dancetown. His training consists of many different forms of dance which has granted him vast performance experience, nationally and internationally. Growing up he has appeared on many tv shows such as Americas Got Talent, World of Dance, The Oprah Winfrey Show, etc. as apart of a Latin Ballroom Dance couple or group. In 2018, D’Angelo became the United States Youth National Latin Ballroom Champion while also receiving an acceptance letter into the Juilliard Dance Program located in New York. Recently he has performed in a small number of very well-known theaters such as the Royal Albert Hall and Sadler’s Wells Theater as a member of the London based junior ballet company, Rambert 2. Since then he has joined Season 31 of Dancing With The Stars as a troupe member and recurring appearance. Lately he is working with the Yin Yue Dance Company in New York City on a new creation “Somewhere” to tour in theaters located in Italy, Germany, and Serbia. D’Angelo is increasingly excited about exploring new paradigms of dance that continue to unfold and extremely looks forward to future collaborations with many more inspiring artists.
