Julia Harnetiaux is a traveling contemporary choreographer and teacher around the US. She grew up dancing at the age of 5 and knew it was something she was meant to do the rest of her life. Growing up in California about an hour away from LA meant there were many opportunities for training, classes and performance opportunities. After graduating a year early from high school and from her competitive studio in Orange County, she embraced being a dancer and performer by being involved in videos, shows and also continuing to train in all styles. As time passed, Julia truly found that her passion lies within teaching and inspiring. Most of her choreographic training was and still is under contemporary choreographer, Chad McCall. Being an assistant choreographer for 5 years is really what shaped the vision and structure of Julia’s classes. Within her class you will find a safe space for movement expression and finding YOUR voice.
